Through the Incarnation, Jesus transferred the Spirit of Prophecy from Himself to His disciples. The 120 in the upper room became a community of Spirit-baptized prophets. In the Gospel narratives, Jesus is portrayed as a Rabbi whom the disciples follow. If Jesus is the eschatological Prophet, then, similarly, Old Testament prophets also had disciples known as “sons of the prophets.” The journey of Elijah and Elisha presents a story filled with images and metaphors—one that prophetically hints at a metanarrative reflecting the relationship between Jesus and His disciples and that of Elijah and Elisha.

The disciples related to Jesus not merely as their Rabbi but also as the eschatological Prophet, which made them sons of the Prophet. As sons of the Prophet, the disciples embodied and continued Jesus’s prophetic ministry, incarnating Him through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit—who is the Spirit of Prophecy.

This School of the Prophets is designed to help students understand how Jesus equipped His “sons of the prophets” (the Twelve) to walk in the inheritance of the Spirit of Prophecy: the Holy Spirit.

Testimonies from students

“Best thing I can say about the school is that it has given voice to the prophetic call that is on my life and it has propelled me into a deeper revelation and understanding of who I am and the function of a prophet”.

“Dr Henderson is by far the best instructor I have ever had the opportunity to learn from. The way he takes very deep subject matter, breaks it down and delivers it in a way for all to understand is unmatched. The class the school of the prophets in particular was not only informative but it actually brings you into the space of the prophethood. I greatly appreciated how he went in-depth with what a prophet is and is not (biblically). You could tell that this information was not only gleaned from year’s scholastically but from an equal amount of experience in this space. I highly recommend this class to all people of the Spirit not just those in the prophetic”.

Testimonies from students

“I used to always measure myself up to other prophets and intercessors thinking I have to be like them .. this school brought me clarity. I was given an assignment …and it’s individual to me and my assignment doesn’t define me it’s not what I chose for my life but what the Lord dreamed up for me . Therefore there is a grace to walk it out and it will never come before my identity as a daughter I will always be a daughter first” 🙌🏽

“The School of the Prophets challenged old paradigms in me concerning community and exegetically helped me to understand the biblical foundation for prophetic legitimacy.”

God has called us to walk as healthy kingdom representatives and sound prophetic voices, this course will help you do just that”.
